Microsoft has recently warned users against using Internet Explorer, even going so far as to no longer describe IE as a web browser saying it can be downright dangerous.
In their recent blog post titled “The perils of using Internet Explorer as your default browser”, Microsoft warned users that “[IE is] not supporting new web standards” as they urged users to move to “modern browsers”.
TazWorks, our background and drug testing platform, has also recently warned against Internet Explorer’s unstable features and stated that IE is not their preferred choice as a browser. We wanted to relay this information onto you as some clients have made us aware of issues they have run into with the TazWorks platform while using Internet Explorer.
We strongly recommend using either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox when trying to access the screening platform. This will help prevent certain issues from occurring with the platform. Because Internet Explorer is no longer being updated to collaborate with new web standards, some users may be unable to load the platform altogether when using IE.
If you are being sent to a blank screen or experiencing issues with TazWorks, please try using one of the suggested browsers above! If you have any questions about this, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
